Who am I?

Hi! My name is Nikki Wouters, I am a 23 year old student from the Breda, Netherlands. I am currently in my graduation year of User Experience Design at The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
Me before UX
I completed high school at a gymnasium level and studied illustrated and animated storytelling at St. Joost School of Art & Design for one year. Although I still enjoy Illustration, I quickly realised I was missing a sense of purpose and that I want to apply these skills and my curiosity in a more directly impactful field.
This is why I switched to ux design. And now that I am almost graduating, I can confidently say that this was the best choice for me.
User Experience Design at THUAS has been a fast paced, three year bachelor's course. During my studies I have gained tons of new skills, including but not limited to user research, interaction design, prototyping with tools like Figma, user testing and design psychology.
What do I bring to a UX project?
I will challenge existing choices or assumptions and dive into the "why?" behind every design choice. In research I am really big on human contact, with a personal and human approach to the user.
A fun fact about me is that I love bringing a little bit of magic to projects through small details and fun easter eggs.
Where I am now
I about to start my graduation project at Efteling, a company that I have a lot of passion for!
Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or if you are interested in working together on a project!
